When you first start your new business deciding on your initial team is so important. Resources are scarce and time is short. That’s why you need to get the best possible help in the months and weeks leading up to you launch. The top three people you need in your initial team should include:
1. Accountant
The person that does your books and handles employee pay is really important. They should be giving you advice on how to structure yourself to ensure that you are not paying too much tax. Tax provisioning is also really important to make sure you have enough to cover your tax liabilities.
2. Lawyer
You need to select a lawyer right at the start of your business. The lawyer needs to look at the structure of your business. The lawyer and accountant need to work together to make sure you are well positioned for the future.
3. Business Coach
No matter how successful your previous businesses have been, everyone needs advice. Remember that even the best athletes in the world have coaches. Find someone with loads of experience in the type of business you’re running. And make sure your trust them!
